Junior Program Volunteers

The Ojai Valley Gun Club Junior Program is a free, volunteer staffed and operated division of Ojai Valley Gun Club for the benefit of youth 8 to 18 years old. The goal is to give young people an introduction to the sport by teaching the basics of gun safety, marksmanship, and firearm responsibility. We provide a starting point from which they may begin to enjoy the shooting sports safely.

The event needs NRA Certified personnel to properly staff the shoot. The number of shooters is limited by instructor availability. If you are a Current NRA Certified Rifle Instructor or Range Safety Officer and would like to assist, please sign up here and we will contact you.
