The Sespe Rendezvous is a celebration of the Pre-1840 Fur Trade Era. Period attire is encouraged,
but not required. Day visitors and spectators are welcome at no charge. Bring your own food.
Shooting events begin on Wednesday, October 14th at 8 A.M.

Camping:
First come-first served
Shooter’s fee includes up to five nights camping, one additional night may be included for an additional fee
There are 3 separate camping areas

Bring your own firewood. Cutting or gathering any vegetation is prohibited by the United States Forest Service.
NOTE: FIRES MIGHT BE PROHIBITED
Quiet time is maintained after midnight

Competition Rules:
Firearms:
Muzzle loading rifles and pistols using patched, round balls. Exception: Military-style guns may use conical bullets if they were designed for them.
Open or period correct sights only on muzzleloaders
Black Powder Cartridge Match using period correct origional or replica black powder cartridge firearms with appropriate sights (no optics)
Cap and ball revolvers are also acceptable.
All firearms must be loaded and fired as single shot arms only, even repeater designs
Not allowed: Modern, sealed and in-line ignition systems.
Shooters must register for all events in which they wish to compete

From Hwy 101 in Ventura take Hwy 33 Northbound to Ojai, then about 14.5 miles from
Ojai to Rose Valley Road on Hwy 33, go east on Rose Valley Road for about 3.5 miles.
The Gun Club will be on the left.
